GREEN COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS

Announcing a new web site to facilitate sharing of ideas, information and resources for building a more resilient and sustainable community!

Green Community Connections is a new “electronic gathering place” for Oak Park, River Forest and surrounding communities, which is dedicated to helping us make the transition to a more environmentally sustainable way of living.

Green Community Connections is a place where you can share events that your organization is sponsoring, find skill-building resources for gardening, composting, raising chickens, and more as we grow and develop.

It’s a place where you can ask questions, answer questions, and share your experiences and challenges with adopting green practices in your home and organization.  Let us know what’s on your mind?  What keeps you up at night?  What do you want to learn about, find solutions for, talk about?

Green Community Connections is intended to be a way for us to connect with one another and support one another in our journey toward a more sustainable life style.  Green Community Connections will be what we all make it together!  Please join in making GCC a meaningful resource for this important work!
